Our small but mighty team are made up of highly experienced individuals from finance directors, to bookkeepers to business administrators.

Finance Director & Owner


My background is working for large blue chip companies managing finance teams, delivering a wide range of finance services. Many of the small businesses and individuals I came into contact with needed access to a complete Finance Team, but could not justify the inhouse cost. I recognised a gap in the market, and Savvy was formed, providing our clients with bespoke accounting services, from bookkeeping to Finance director support.

Practice Manager


My background is working in business administration.  At Savvy Accounting I manage the practice which includes assisting clients and colleagues with a wide range of admin accounting tasks, from AutoEntry, Quickbooks and managing our client portal, Senta. I really like the diversity of the clients at Savvy, from management consultants to plumbers and I enjoy working with the Savvy team to provide a professional service for our clients.

Accountant/Payroll Manager


I am an AAT qualified accountant with fifteen years experience. I assist clients with the preparation of their company accounts and tax returns and manage Savvy’s team of bookkeepers. As payroll manger, I also complete all of the Savvy payrolls. I enjoy working with all of our clients to assist with their accounting needs and producing up to date valuable management information.

I am a certified advanced QuickBooks Pro Advisor and Level 4 AAT qualified accountant.  I have more than 20 years of experience using QuickBooks and have worked with mainly small to medium sized businesses taking responsibility for all aspects of their bookkeeping along with dealing with CIS and VAT returns. 

I have also spent some time over the last few years training staff and clients in the use of QuickBooks online, Dext and AutoEntry.

Having started my accounting career in industry, within accounts payable, working my way up to management accountant and qualifying with the AAT I decided to move into practice.  This is where I have stayed ever since.  I enjoy working with different clients and businesses, helping them with their accounting needs and to understand the information they need in order to help them grow.  I have experience with many accounting packages and especially enjoy using the cloud based ones such as Xero and QuickBooks.

 I have worked in practice for the past five years and, in this time, I have become Level 4 AAT qualified. 
Throughout my experience I have worked with a variety of clients, from small business start ups to large companies in numerous sectors. 

I pride myself on being able to provide quality customer service to clients in a professional and friendly manner.

Charlene graduated with a degree in International Business and is part way through her ACCA qualification. I am a certified advanced Quickbook Pro user, as well as a certified Xero user. I have worked in both industry and practice and am experienced in dealing with a wide range of accounting services including Bookkeeping, Management accounts, VAT returns and Payroll.
Assistant Bookkeeper


I manage AutoEntry and work closely with Savvy’s bookkeepers to provide a high quality service to our clients.  I am going to be starting my AAT journey in the near future, and I have completed my Quickbooks training.  I am beginning my accountancy career so joining the Savvy team was a natural progression and a great opportunity and I’m enjoying working with a variety of clients.
